house it is a short, interesting walk to historic sights, restaurants
and shops. For tours and many other activities, Lyn and Norm will be
glad to help you with any reservations or questions you might have.
We strongly recommend touring the city with a Charleston tour guide; Ed Grimball or one of Charleston's most knowledgeable tour operators Talk of the Towne mini bus. Modern conveniences have not been overlooked
however: off-street parking for rooms with private bath, air
conditioning, televisions, fax are all available. Limited phone and
computer jack availability. High speed wireless network in some rooms
and the common areas. Lyn provides these amenities as well as:
parking, Southern continental breakfast, afternoon sherry, bikes and an
in-room service of brandy and chocolates.

Lyn is the owner of the
Rutledge Victorian Guest House. Lyn has been collecting Victorian
antiques for over twenty years. Some of the antiques in the house have
been passed down through Lyn’s family, others have been found
throughout the Midwest. .
Lyn made her home for many years in
the Kansas City
area.

Meet the owners well behaved pets, Ell-e, Liv-e,
Max and Bella, don't overlook Morris, Mollie,
Mitzi and Abbie, the
abandoned kitties Lyn took in. Not to worry,
the pets are not allowed in the bed & breakfast.
DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION: We require a one night
deposit by credit card, check or money order.
Any cancellation must occur 7 full days (14 days for Charleston special events and holidays) prior to the arrival date in order to avoid full reservation being charged. Outside 7 days a $25.00 cancellation fee will be charged per room (charge will be $50.00 if 14 day applies). Upon arrival all guests are responsible for entire confirmed reservation and will be charged for early departures. Non arrivals will be charged the full reservation To insure comfort and privacy of all guests we cannot accommodate children under 12 and pets.
